Dr. Kevin’s Migraine ERASING Protocol

If you get migraines, you already know they aren’t regular headaches.

Instead, you suffer through hours – or even days – of excruciating pain, nausea, and light sensitivity.

And your mainstream doc is ZERO help.

They’ll just hand you a risky drug that can’t even begin to ease your pain.

But that all ends today.

Because when it comes to fighting off migraines – or any type of headache – there are five things that studies show work.

And I’ve seen these same remedies provide relief for my own patients, too.

 Let’s dive right in.

Dr. Kevin’s Migraine Protocol

Migraine Buster #1: Hydration

Like I mentioned in a previous article, staying hydrated is the key to better overall health. And when it comes to preventing migraines and headaches, hydration is my #1 suggestion.

You see, a recent study of 256 migraine sufferers shows that those who drank more water experienced fewer migraines. Even better? When they did have a migraine, they were shorter and less severe.

Another study of 102 headache patients shows that drinking more water improved their Migraine-Specific Quality of Life scores.

I like to “super hydrate” by adding 1/4 tsp of Celtic Sea or Redmond’s salt to every 12 ounces of water. These natural salts will help replenish your electrolytes and contain certain minerals that can help fight migraines.

Migraine Buster #2: Exercise

Now, I understand that exercise may be the last thing you want to do when your head is hurting.

But, according to one study, getting into the habit of doing more activity may help you end your pain.

For the research, 91 migraine patients were split into three groups. One group exercised for 40 minutes three times a week, another group did relaxation exercises, and the final third was given topiramate – drug commonly prescribed to treat migraines – for three months.

At the end, all three groups saw the same results: fewer migraines.

This means getting exercise can work just as well as Big Pharma drugs!

Migraine Buster #3: Diet Changes

One of the first things I tell my patients with migraines is to ditch the sugar.

A 2020 study shows that higher blood sugar levels – like you experience after eating carbs and sweets –can trigger the onset of a migraine.

However, folks eating more fish see the opposite results.

Research finds that consuming more omega-3-rich fish – like salmon, cod, and trout – can help reduce the frequency and severity of headaches in migraine sufferers in just 16 weeks.

So, ditch the sugar and serve up more fish!

Migraine Buster #4: Quit Smoking

I know quitting smoking is easier said than done.

But if you suffer from migraines, it might be time to finally kick the habit.

Because one study finds that smoking just five cigarettes a day can trigger a migraine

If you’re a non-smoker but are exposed to second-hand smoke, getting an air purifier can help reduce your exposure and may decrease your smoke-related headaches.

Migraine Buster #5: Supplements

Magnesium is my go-to supplement to help with migraines.

This mineral can lower the specific type of brain activity and inflammation that can cause migraines and headaches. Most studies recommend a dose of 600mg to start.

Other supplements that may help fight headaches include:

  • Vitamin
  • Feverfew
  • Vit D
  • Fish Oil
  • B complex
  • And CoQ10

There you have it, folks! Now you can get on track with my top five ways to beat migraines… and start feeling BETTER today!
