STOP Heart Disease and Alzheimer’s with THIS Little Fruit! (YUM)

Sometimes diseases go hand in hand.

For example, diabetes and kidney disease… or obesity and arthritis.

It makes sense, right? The impacts of the first condition can cause the second.

And that’s true for heart disease and Alzheimer’s, too. Because poor blood flow to the brain can lead to memory issues.

Luckily, there’s a way to STOP both conditions.

And it’s all thanks to a little fruit.

Blueberries have been saving desserts and improving breakfasts for eons.

Now it looks like this tiny fruit can hit back on two of the toughest diseases around.

In a recent double-blind, placebo-controlled study, researchers from King’s College in London, England, split a group of 61 health seniors into two groups. One group consumed 26 g of freeze-dried wild blueberry powder, and the other took a placebo. All participants underwent heart function and cognitive monitoring during the study period

At the end of the 12-week trial, the results showed the blueberry group:

  • Reduced their systolic (top number) blood pressure by 3.5 points,
  • Improved their blood vessel function,
  • Were immediately better at recalling words,
  • And experience improved cognitive functions.

Just imagine what these results could mean for your health!

Experts report that blueberries are so good for your heart and brain because they contain nutrients called anthocyanins. These antioxidants give blueberries their deep blue color and fight the specific types of inflammation that cause heart disease and memory issues.

The dose used in the study is equivalent to about 80 fresh blueberries, which makes a perfect afternoon snack or addition to your morning oats.

And since it’s about to be blueberry season, there’s no time like RIGHT NOW to pick up this healthy snack.

Just be sure to choose organic varieties… and remember, the bluer the berry, the better it is for your heart and brain!
