REVEALED: The “Unheard” Cause of Dementia

Conventional medicine thinks of dementia as a genetic disease.

They’ll tell you that your genes have sentenced you to losing your memory… your identity… and your freedom.

But the truth is your genetics are just one factor that can lead to dementia.

Things like your diet, exercise routine, and other medical conditions also have an impact on your brain health.

In fact, new research reveals that a certain “unheard” condition could be the determining factor between who gets dementia… and who doesn’t.

It’s very common among seniors. And your mainstream doc probably doesn’t know it has anything to do with your brain.

I’m talking about hearing loss.

That’s right! Losing your hearing can trigger dementia.

For the new study published in the Lancet Public Health, researchers from the United Kingdom analyzed hearing loss, hearing aid use, and dementia status in nearly 440,000 seniors.

At the end, they found that folks with hearing loss were 42 percent more likely to develop dementia compared to their peers without hearing issues.

But there is some good news…

Folks with hearing loss that used hearing aids saw NO increase in dementia risk.

This means you can ward off dementia even if you don’t have perfect hearing!

The connection between hearing loss and dementia isn’t fully understood yet. But researchers believe it could be due to the social and communication barriers caused by poor hearing.

So, if you’ve noticed you’re turning up the TV volume recently… or you’re struggling to keep up in conversations… it may be time to get a hearing aid.

Fortunately, there are cheaper and easier than ever to get.

Since last summer, hearing aids have been available for over-the-counter (OTC) purchase at pharmacies without a hearing exam, prescription, or audiologist appointment.

Even better? They typically cost $1,600 to $3,000 less than prescription hearing aids.
