DISCOVERED: The 2-Second Heart Disease Test

Heart problems can sneak up on you.

You can’t see – or feel – heart indicators like high cholesterol or triglycerides.

So, you must rely on yearly blood work that may or may not give you straightforward results.

Luckily, research shows you don’t have to depend on unreliable tests to know what’s happening with your ticker.

Instead, all you need is two seconds and a mirror.

Here’s exactly how to do it.

Step 1: Get in front of a mirror.

Step 2: Look at your forehead.

Step 3: If you see deep wrinkles on your forehead, you might have heart issues.

In a new study, researchers from Toulouse University Hospital in France analyzed the facial wrinkles of 3,200 healthy adults over 20 years, looking for a link between deep lines and heart disease.

And man, did they find one!

The results showed that participants with the most — and deepest — forehead wrinkles were 10 TIMES more likely to die from heart disease.

And this isn’t the first time research has shown that certain types of wrinkles could indicate heart disease.

Another study found that folks with creases on their earlobes are more likely to develop the condition.

Experts believe that forehead wrinkles (and earlobe creases) could indicate that you have hardened arteries, a condition that can increase your chances of having a fatal heart attack or stroke.

So, if you see more wrinkles than you’d like on your forehead, it may be time to take better care of your heart.

And that’s easy to do…

Getting more exercise will help your heart stay strong and healthy well into your golden years.

Additionally, eating a diet focused on lean proteins and fresh produce – like the Mediterranean diet — can help keep your arteries flexible and healthy.
