“Forbidden” Dessert SLASHES Heart Risk by 23%

We all love dessert.  

And who could blame you?

For the meta-analysis, scientists from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York looked at five studies involving more than 575,000 participants.  

At the end, the research shows that folks who ate up to three dark chocolate bars a month SLASHED their risk of developing heart failure by 23 percent!

This means you get to have your dessert… and a healthy heart, too! 

Even better? Three full bars of chocolate is A LOT of chocolate.

But it has to be dark chocolate for your heart to benefit.  

You see, researchers believe that dark chocolate helps fight heart failure because it contains flavonoids – special nutrients that increase your blood vessel health and lower the type of inflammation that causes heart issues. 

Flavonoids are highly concentrated in cacao powered, so the higher the percentage of cacao, the more heart-healing flavonoids it has.
